US church alliance denounces war

A friend of mine forwarded this article to me, and I think that it says volumes about the church or the body of believers who follow Christ. Much as we have come to feel about how evangelical churches responded to the AIDS crisis in the '80's; I feel that we must also react this way to the war in Iraq. We must say, "We are so sorry that we did not do more to alleviate the suffering of others."
