Discover Firefly

Well, I've just been turned on to a great (now cancelled) television series called "Firefly." I've meant to check out this series for some time now simply because it is written by Joss Whedon. My wife and I are enormous fans of "Angel" and "Buffy The Vampire Slayer," and so we fully expected "Firefly" to also be good. Over the holidays, we watched "Serenity," the film based upon the series, and we are now going through the complete series on DVD.

If you like witty dialogue, compelling characters, Western films, Chinese culture, gunfights, government conspiracies, barfights, prostitutes, priests, engineering, spaceships, rustling cattle, and characters that are in love but never seem to end up together, then this series is for you.
